Darshan - Blessing

What means „Darshan“?
The Sanskrit term literally means “divine sight”. It describes the experience of looking at or being in the presence of an enlightened master. A mutual experience, a moment of seeing and being seen by the divine, being showered with unconditional divine love.

How does it feel?
A darshan is always a very individual experience. It is a unique and sacred moment between you and the divine. Some experience an inner transformation, others experience this moment as deeply healing and still others are flooded with an overwhelming feeling of love. Some just don’t feel anything at that moment. Every single person experiences something different and receives something different, completely unique to him.

Darshan with Nahziji

After meditating together, Nahizji invites the participants to take a seat across from her. She looks people in the eyes and puts her hands on their heads. After the personal darshan, Nahizji bids farewell to the person in question with the Namaste gesture and they return to their original place, where they have the opportunity to let what they have received resonate in meditative silence.
